Welcome to myScribe. By accessing or using our website, application, and services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

myScribe provides AI-powered meeting transcription, summarization, and task management tools. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

2. User Content & Consent

You retain all rights to the audio, video, text, and other content you upload or record via the Service ("User Content").

Recording Consent: You represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents from all participants before recording any meeting or conversation using myScribe. You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding the recording of conversations.

3. AI Processing

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that your User Content will be processed by third-party AI providers (such as Google, OpenAI, and specialized speech-to-text services) to generate transcriptions and summaries. This processing is subject to our Privacy Policy.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. All payments are processed through Stripe.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings.
• Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Record individuals without their informed consent.
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality (excluding User Content), are and will remain the exclusive property of myScribe and its licensors.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, myScribe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for high accuracy in AI transcriptions and summaries, we do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that the results will be perfectly accurate.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
